I’m back for a second year of being an Unshaven Maven. My pits are smooth and hair-free (for now!), but I’ll be growing my Pits For Tits for the month of October.
The goal of the Pits for Tits campaign is to increase awareness of early detection of breast cancer in the underarm area, not just the breast. All money raised will go to Rethink Breast Cancer to support their mission of helping young people affected by and concerned about breast cancer through innovative education, research, advocacy, and support programs.
With the amazing support of my friends and family and people I've never even met, I raised just over $1,300 last year. So I'm aiming high this year - my goal is to raise $1,350.00. Chances are you've been touched by cancer is some way. It's a crappy disease that kills far too many people, both young and old.
