The good news is that it’s a holiday for us here in North America. YAY! The bad news is that it’s the unofficial end of summer. BOO! I really hate this time of the year – the end of cottage season is tough. I’m already counting down the months till next year’s cottage season starts (nine!) Till then, these are some of my memories from this past summer…
What are your favourite memories from the summer of 2012?

Mmmmm, just looking at your blackberries makes my mouth water! Ours are in the freezer now, ready for breakfast smoothies, and a day when I can make a batch of jelly :-) I hope you're having a great day today, Kelly!
ReplyDeleteYour cottage location is beautiful - looks so quiet and peaceful! My best memories of the summer are being able to sleep in (for a night owl like me, it's the best!)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous pictures! We had a great summer, but I'm definitely ready for fall!
ReplyDeleteWe had a very warm spring day = full of summery promises - my cottage season is just about to begin - thank heavens !
ReplyDeleteOh love all the pictures! The weather was certainly something to remember in Ontario this year. Having friends and family at the cottage this summer made for the best memories of 2012.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely looks like you had a great summer! My favourite moments included watching my puppy swim for the first time and relaxing by the water. Still one more cottage weekend to go!!
ReplyDeleteTHE WEATHER was grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great for swimming at the cottage for sure! Too hot at times, and definitely too dry at times - but overall, it was a pretty good summer weather-wise :-)

Oh that looks like an amazing and special place! It's kind of depressing to think it's all over, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteWow. I can see why you hate to see the summer end!
ReplyDeleteI hate summer ending too, but haven`t done a countdown yet! I`ll miss all the berries, watermelon, peaches and bbq`s and not wearing a coat. Hope we have a light winter. Such cute photos. It looks very relaxing at your cottage.
