What happened to my finger playing volleyball. It turns out it’s broken, might require plastic surgery, and definitely requires wearing a splint for at least eight weeks. UGH! That’s why there’s been a shortage of blog posts lately.
What I think of bright orange & pink together…

So sorry to hear about your poor finger! Hope that it heals completely and that you are able to get on without surgery. Great photos but I'm not brave enough to have that much bright pink and orange in my home. Love looking at homes of others who are though! Take care.
ReplyDeleteOh geesh, that is terrible! I'll tell you, I broke my pinky 2x and I never got the plastic surgery done, and my finger is now permanently bent :( So take good care of it, and I hope its a speedy recovery Kelly!
ReplyDeleteOn another note this is very JUICY! I've been noticing this combo all over the place and especially in fashion. Even Oprah wore a bold pink and orange outfit this week!!
Nancy xo
Oh, you may wonder how the heck I broke the same pinky 2x ... basketball!!! Pooh.
ReplyDeleteYour broken finger has not stopped another gorgeous blog !
ReplyDeleteOh no poor girl!! On the bright side, in 8 weeks or so, you will have developed a new skill; one handed blogging! haha =D I've done the finger breaking thing too, and it magically grew in place in two weeks, so hoping you will have a speedy recovery. It's so troublesome wearing braces and bandages on your hands =(
ReplyDeleteI love the pink and orange color combo, and it looks sooo divine in Jamie Drake's living room. Just gorgeous!
Have a great weekend Kelly, and take good care of your poor finger.

Walking down memory lane reading this post Kelly. My MOD bedroom in the 70s was exactly this Colour combo and I LOVED it. Just wish I had not had to share with my sister. Not sure how you wrote this with a splint on your finger. Hopefully it's not too painful...just a pain in the butt!
ReplyDeleteI just love this colour combination!! The colours are so vibrant and really make the ideal pairing, perfect for the summer and that holiday feeling. Gorgeous! Have a lovely weekend Kelly, hope the finger heals quickly.
ReplyDeleteOh, no, your poor finger! I hope it heals properly without the surgery.
ReplyDeleteI love these colors together! My daughter's bedroom curtains and comforter are pink and peach (and yellow).
Gosh! What a way to get inspiration for a post! ;) Hope your finger is healing well, Kelly - with no need for surgery! Adore the images with this hot colour combo! Enjoy the weekend!
