I love these! When I lived in Toronto I lived in the Beach neighbourhood. At night, some mystery person would make these balanced rock sculptures and throughout the course of the day kids and dogs would knock them over. Then they mystery sculptor would do it again and on and on. I was amazed by the dedication and commitment to the art.
ReplyDeleteWow, that IS dedication! As far as I know, nobody knocks over the rock art here. It would be sad if someone started doing that.

These are all so amazing!! And it is an art indeed!
ReplyDeleteThese are just incredible. What an opportunity to see this in person... I am completely drawn to the photos - thank you so much for sharing them!
ReplyDeleteVery cool!! I have never seen anything like this! Have a good time seeing all the rock art!
ReplyDeleteThese are pretty awesome. I agree, life is all about balance and its hard to juggle between work/family/friends etc....
ReplyDeleteHard to balance everything for sure! I think if we all slowed down a bit and stopped trying to get five things done at once, we'd have much better balance in our lives. Stepping away from the computer and going for a walk would be a good start :-)

I agree...sometimes we all just need to step away from my computer and just breathe
DeleteAnd the iPhone and the Blackberry and the hi-def TV... ;-)

So neat Kelly! And your reference to life and balance is so true. There was an inukshuk at our cottage last year but the ice took care of it. I've been wanting to do another one to replace it. Maybe this fall!
ReplyDeleteI love Inukshuks! Definitely rebuild yours :-)
