Star struck

starlamps my danilo com

I love star light fixtures. Years ago when I bought mine, they were almost impossible to find. Now they’re available in all shapes and sizes and finishes both online and in stores. My star light fixture is in the kitchen:

You can hang a star light fixture anywhere. In the bathroom…

Designer Carol Reed hung a star light in her client’s bedroom.

Here’s another starlit bedroom…

Hang them anywhere in the house!

And hey, why not hang them outside too…

Love the look of multiple star fixtures hung together…

And why not hang multiple stars outside too – after all, there are already a few bazillion of them in the sky :-)

Are you feeling a little star struck now too?

  8. I love, love star fixtures as well. I want to get one for the cottage but we have fans everywhere as there is no A/C. I especially love the photo with the multiple lamps and the following one of the hallway is gorgeous!

  10. Kelly,

Just about a month ago I was reciting first evening star (make a wish) to my niece (3yrs) and as my girlfriend and I were out one evening and we saw a falling star right at dusk and broke out into:

    Star light, Star bright
The first start I see tonight
    I wish I will, I wish I might
Have this wish I wish tonight!
    ...Then you make a wish!

Love these they do add to the star quality of lucky feeling all the time and they 're really really fun...would be fantastic made with Swarovski crystals to add to the sparkle, gitter and glam.
